FAQ

Does TASA | TASB share attendee e-mail addresses?

No. TASA | TASB will never share attendee e-mail addresses.

I was contacted by a housing company other than Convention Housing Management (CHM). What should I do?

Please let us know.

When we secure sleeping rooms at hotels for our conferences (commonly referred to as room blocks), we research the properties to make certain our attendees will be adequately accommodated. The room block is established to ensure that rooms meet our standards and are offered at a discounted price:

  • Registrants are often contacted by fax, e-mail, or most often by phone with offers for cut-rate housing.
  • The intent is to convince you that the offer is made on our behalf, or that the soliciting company is a viable alternative to going through our service provider. This is not true.
  • TASA | TASB Convention housing is handled exclusively by Convention Housing Management (CHM).

How do I report CPE?

If you are a board member or superintendent, you can go to cecm.tasb.org, log in with your TASB credentials, and enter the 4-digit codes given after each session.  If you do not know your TASB credentials, please email mytasb@tasb.org or visit our Continuing Education Credit Help Desk onsite at Convention.

If you are an assistant superintendent, administrator, or another position that needs to report CPE, you can use this form (PDF) and keep it for your records.

May I bring a guest or spouse?

New this year! Guest badges are $75.

One guest badge is offered for $75 with each paid registration and is available for a personal guest (provided the person is not eligible for membership in TASA or TASB or for whom paid registration would otherwise be required).

You may pre-register your guest when registration opens Tuesday, July 25, or you may request your guest badge on-site at the event. Guest badges must be paid in full by credit card and there are no refunds. Please see Registration for more information.

Whom should I contact about mobility rentals?

Contact Sam's Wheelchair by email or go to their website

If you would like us to address another special need or have any questions, please contact Taylor Thompson at taylor.thompson@tasb.org.

Does TASA | TASB endorse certain speakers, companies, or services?

No. TASA | TASB endorses no speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, attendee, or other participant in Convention by virtue of their participation.

What is the policy on marketing at Convention?

Attendees are not permitted to distribute materials or otherwise market themselves or their business in contracted Convention space unless such attendees are registered as exhibitors and limit their marketing activities to within the confines of their booth.

What is the policy on video and photography at Convention?
