In alignment with the Texas Governor’s Executive Order 29, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is currently limiting gatherings to groups of less than ten individuals.
When will registration open for Virtual Convention?
Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18th. To register, please visit the registration webpage.
Registration will close at noon on Friday, October 2nd.
I need to cancel my registration. How do I do that and what is the deadline?
Unline our lin-person events, if you can't make the live event, you will have the ability to watch any and all of our sessions for up to 30 days after the event. However, if you do wish to cancel, the deadline to do so is Wednesday, September 16 at midnight. Please send an email to email@example.com and we will help you with the process.
What are the dates for the virtual event?
The dates for Virtual Convention are Wednesday, September 30–Friday, October 2. Please note the date change.
Do I need to take off work to attend Virtual Convention?
The Schedule of Events is set for September 30–October 2. Attendees are given time between sessions to take care of personal matters, check work emails, and get outside for fresh air.
The recorded sessions will be available for 30 days after the virtual conference for registered attendees. The only difference will be that the “live” Q&A with presenters and networking rooms will not be available.
How much will Virtual Convention Cost?
Registration fees are $425 for TASA | TASB members (including CSA members) and $525 for nonmembers.

Does TASA | TASB share attendee e-mail addresses?
No. TASA | TASB will never share attendee e-mail addresses.
Does TASA | TASB endorse certain speakers, companies, or services?
No. TASA | TASB endorses no speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, attendee, or other participant in Convention by virtue of their participation.
What is the policy on marketing at Convention?
Attendees are not permitted to distribute materials or otherwise market themselves or their business in contracted Convention space unless such attendees are registered as exhibitors and limit their marketing activities to within the confines of their booth.
What is the policy on video and photography at Convention?
No taping or recording is allowed other than by TASA | TASB staff and its designees.
TASA | TASB and its designees record, photograph, and/or stream various aspects of this event for archival and promotional purposes. By attending the TASA | TASB Convention, attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors give TASA | TASB permission to use attendee’s voice and image in any such archival or promotional recording, photograph, or streaming activity.

Do I need to pre-register for sessions?
No, there will be no need to pre-register for any of the sessions. The morning of Wednesday, September 30, you will be able to enter the platform and customize your agenda.
Will sessions be live or recorded? Will I be able to ask questions and interact with other participants in the sessions?
We will offer a mix of live and recorded sessions. If you attend a session during the scheduled time, you will be able to ask questions and interact with other participants.
Do I need to download anything in order to participate?
No downloading necessary! You will be sent a link with instructions on how to log in.
What is the discounted rate for registering the entire board and superintendent?
When you register, select the Full Board and Superintendent option. The discount is $100 off of registration per person. This discounted rate only applies if you register your entire board and the superintendent on the same order.
What happens if I originally registered my entire board and my superintendent to get the discount and then cancel one of my board members?
If you choose to cancel either your superintendent or a board member after registering under Full Board and Superintendent, the discount will be lost and you will owe the difference.
Is there a virtual exhibit hall?
Yes! You will have the opportunity to meet with various vendors.
How many credit hours can I get if I attend Virtual Convention?
If you participate in everything live, September 30–October 2, you can get 10 CEC hours.
With access to all sessions available for 30 days after the live event ends, you can earn additional credits for every session viewed.
