Council of School Attorneys FAQs

Do I need to register as an attendee for txEDCON to attend the CSA spotlight sessions on Thursday or the CSA meeting and CLE on Friday, October 16?

You must be fully registered as an attendee for the virtual convention to attend the CSA spotlight sessions. Your convention registration will also give you access to the CSA Meeting on October 16 at no charge. If you have registered for convention and plan to register and attend the CSA meeting on October 16, please email registrar@tasb.org. If you do not register for convention, you will need to pay $50 to attend the CSA Meeting.

How do I register for the October 16 meeting?

Go to our events page to register for the October 16 meeting.

If I have been accepted to be a presenter at txEDCON, do I need to register as an attendee?

Yes; however, CLE presenters will be given a promo code.

My firm is an exhibitor and I will have an exhibitor badge. Is that sufficient to attend any of the meetings?

No, an exhibitor badge is only sufficient to attend the exhibit hall. If you would like to attend any of the concurrent sessions, which does include the CSA meeting on October 16, you must be registered as an attendee.

How do I get CLE credit?

For the CSA Spotlight sessions, we will provide you with an approved CLE credit number for each attorney to enter at texasbar.com. For the CSA Meeting on October 16, in addition to providing you approved CLE credit numbers, we will also provide a form that you can fill out and we will enter the information for you.

How do I know if I am a CSA member?

Please contact Annette Moseley annette.moseley@tasb.org or 800.580.5345 and she will be able to tell you your membership status.

If I am not a CSA member, can I still attend the CLE “CSA Spotlight Session”?
