Because there are Executive Committee meetings and Board meetings taking place at the Omni in conjunction with the TASA|TASB Convention, the guest rooms at the headquarter hotel are reserved for TASA and TASB association leadership. This does not mean association staff; these guest rooms are occupied by TASA's Executive Committee and their local boards and TASB's Board of Directors and their local boards.
For questions about this process or help with problems encountered with the hotels, call 800.340.1905 or e-mail email@example.com.
Hotel map and comparison chart
TASA|TASB makes every effort to offer a variety of hotel options to our members while keeping expenses as low as possible. Airport & ground transportation
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is located just seven and a half miles from Dallas Love Field Airport. Once you land, there are many quick and easy transportation options to take you to downtown Dallas and nearby hotels as well as back to the airport when it's time to go home.
View ground transportation options to and from the airport on the Dallas Love Field website. Check your hotel to see if they have a hotel shuttle service to and from the airport.
Driving in? Use the convention center's directions and parking lot map (pdf) to plan your trip.
TASA|TASB shuttle buses
Convention shuttles are provided complimentary between official TASA|TASB Convention hotels and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Omni Dallas and Aloft is considered "walkable" properties to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. All other hotels listed in the 2019 Official Hotel list above will have shuttle serve.
If you require a wheelchair assisted service pickup, please call the phone number listed on the shuttle service sign (available in hotel lobbies) at least 30 minutes before your desired departure time to be sure we can adequately accommodate your needs.
Dallas has many transportation options for getting around, including Uber, Lyft, eFrogs, or Dart to get easy access anywhere in the downtown Dallas area, as well as shuttles direct to the airport. Download your preferred app or visit their website for more information.
When we secure sleeping rooms at hotels for our conferences (commonly referred to as room blocks), we research the properties to make sure that our attendees will be adequately accommodated. The room block is established to ensure that rooms meet our standards and are offered at a discounted price.
We are informed that registrants are often contacted by fax, e-mail or most often by phone with offers for cut rate housing. The intent is to convince you that the offer is made on our behalf, or that the soliciting company is associated with TASA|TASB. This is not true. The exclusive service provider for TASA|TASB Convention housing is Convention Housing Management (CHM). Find out more about how housing pirates work and what to do if you encounter this situation.
